Job Description:

As a cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing all cash transactions, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area.

Responsibilities:

– Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.

– Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.

– Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.

– Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.

– Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.

Requirements:

– Basic math and computer skills.

– Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

– High level of energy with strong customer service skills.

– Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items for extended periods.

– Detail-oriented and able to multitask.

– A high school degree or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience in a retail store or as a cashier would be advantageous but not obligatory as we provide paid training for the chosen candidate.
