Shipping and Receiving Clerk-DHL Job Description... As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at DHL, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our logistics and warehouse functions. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining high standards of efficiency, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities include: • Operate powered equipment to load, unload, move, locate, and stack products as needed. • Load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes, ensuring secure and accurate handling. • Organize and retrieve products for shipment or storage, verifying type and quantity against customer orders. • Scrutinize product quality, labeling, and quantities to ensure precise outbound shipments. • Monitor and replace equipment batteries or LP tanks, ensuring continuous operation. • Identify and document discrepancies such as product shortages or damages, managing OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) items appropriately. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and equipment, conducting daily inspections to uphold safety and operational standards. • Support physical inventory processes, participating in counts and audits as required. What We Seek: • Preferably 6-12 months of previous warehouse experience. • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. • Preferably six months of experience operating forklifts. • Certification as a Great Place to Work and recognition as a Top Employer in the US.
