Remote Datastage Developer
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for 3-5 ETL/Datastage Developer for a very short-term CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid is preferred but he or she can work remotely. You will work within the Data Governance Office to help respond to a mid-October '24 deadline. Role... Contributes to the overall success of the U.S. Data Governance Office Data Quality team Build and maintain ETL scripts to support data quality processes Build data quality rules to support Capital Markets business areas domain(s) as it aligns with requirements Support existing data quality processes Required Skills Strong Knowledge of IBM Infosphere DataStage with at least 4 Years of Hands-on Experience. Has designed and build scalable DataStage Solutions. Has monitored DataStage Jobs and identified bottlenecks in Data Processing Pipeline Has Tested and troubleshooted problems in system designs and processes. Has prior experience in working with Different Data formats Flat Files, DB, XMLs, JSON, Python, Hive etc. Has knowledge of Data Modeling, Database Design and Datawarehouse Ecosystem. Proficient in SQL and Unix commands, scripts. Had Strong Interpersonal, Organizational Skills and ability to interact with Business Analysts and Stakeholders to understand the Requirements. Has hands on experience in working with Large DataSets. Has experience working in Agile Project and knowledge of Tools like Jira and Confluence. Has ability to quickly learn and apply Domain expertise across Business Domains. Previous experience or knowledge of Data Quality and Governance concepts Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field.
