Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with varying needs. • Lead interactive online classes and personalized one-on-one sessions to enhance student learning. • Customize curriculum resources to align with each student’s unique learning requirements. • Administer and analyze educational assessments within a digital environment. • Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and support staff to support student achievement. • Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and intervention strategies. • Participate actively in virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and goals. Qualifications • Master’s degree in Special Education. • Current state teaching license with a special education endorsement. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in special education, ideally within an online setting. • Proficiency in using assistive technology and digital learning tools to enhance student learning. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues. • Ability to inspire and motivate students in a virtual environment. • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
