Job Description

As a TSA Agent at Delta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our passengers and staff. You will be responsible for conducting security screenings of passengers and baggage, maintaining a high level of vigilance, and adhering to all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) guidelines and procedures. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, baggage, and cargo. • Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure compliance with TSA regulations. • Assist passengers with security procedures and provide exceptional customer service. • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a calm and efficient manner. • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by TSA guidelines. • Collaborate with other TSA agents and airport personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances. • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy baggage as needed. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field. • Familiarity with TSA regulations and procedures. • Basic proficiency in a second language.

Work Environment

This job operates in a dynamic and fast-paced airport environment. TSA Agents are required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 security coverage.
