We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license. • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to speech and language therapy services in schools. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and school staff. • Ability to pass a background check and meet all local and state requirements. Responsibilities: • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders. • Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of an SLP, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication interventions. • Collect data and document student progress towards therapy goals, reporting findings to the supervising SLP. • Prepare therapy materials and activities to support student engagement and progress. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom setting. • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all school district policies and state regulations. • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
