Water Wastewater Engineer
Job Title: Water Wastewater Engineer Job Description... Provide technical planning, biological process and mechanical design, and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment and resource recovery projects. These projects may include combined sewer overflow, collection system, pump station, stormwater, hydrologic and hydraulic models, and other related projects. Prepare engineering calculations, run process models (e.g., Excel, GPS-X), and support analysis of alternatives. Utilize effective technical writing skills to prepare technical memoranda, design reports, and construction plans for treatment plants and pump stations using local and state standards. Prepare and assist with specifications and permit submittals, and review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks. Monitor task budgets and progress, document design changes, and conduct on-site inspections and technical guidance as needed. Prepare project status reports, assist in proposal preparation, and attend various client and project meetings. Maintain excellent client relations and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Work Site This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
Hybrid work schedule available. M-F 40-45 hours per week expected with flexible scheduling. Fully remote option available for PE. Otherwise, occasional visits to local offices are required a few days per week. Job sites could be in Michigan, Florida, Ohio, Nebraska, and possibly other states.
