Special Education Teacher | Elementary School

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our remote teaching team. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs • Create and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a virtual classroom setting • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training We are looking for a Special... Education Teacher who is not only knowledgeable and skilled in special education practices, but also compassionate and patient. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements: • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in your state of residence. MICHIGAN-certified special education teachers preferred, but not required.
