Description The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Program Financial Analyst to support our Lorton, VA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the DHS/HEITS mission. This position can be based in the Lorton, VA office or can be remote with expectation of coming to Lorton, VA as business requires. The position will work directly with Program Management, Project Managers, and Cost Account Managers as well as the Finance and Business Operations Team. Why Leidos? The successful candidate will manage budget and cost on multiple projects with discrete funding sources from multiple agencies across multiple CLINs. They will work one on one with each Cost... Account Manager and Project Manager to develop, refine, and report on actuals, estimates to complete, and estimates at complete. They will also report the special project status and progress to the Finance and Business Operations Manager, which will in turn utilize that information to satisfy both external and internal planning and reporting needs. Analyst will coordinate and work with Primary Customer POC's on Project Statuses and funding actions. Successful candidates must possess the following skills: Manage complex PFA Tasks Perform funding/spend plan data reconciliation and consolidation with customer POC's Establish and maintain financial plans, track, and report actuals, EAC's, and variances Monitor schedules and performance on a high volume of projects BOM Maintenance and procurement tracking and forecasting Provide Project Data for MOR, QFSR, IPR, MSR and other Leidos and customer deliverables Provide oversight for Subk funding, PR/PO creation and SLICS/SLATE set up Responsible for overseeing timely Project invoicing and cash collection Basic Qualifications Bachelors' Degree with 4-8 years of applicable experience Firm understanding of Estimates At Complete Proficient in MS Office Skills, in particular MS Excel Strong Organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills Experience in Program Finance Desire and ability to train Project Managers and Cost Account Managers that lack financial acumen Must be able to own" the process Customer Focused Ability to handle high volume of data (hundreds of projects) in a fast paced, cyclical, and demanding work environment Proven capability and experience working both tandem and serial tasks Self-motivated with a can-do attitude Ability to analyze problems for root cause and implement corrective action Strong Problem solving skills Prior Finance experience in government contracting Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications such as: OBI, Cognos, PowerBI, Fusion, CostPoint FAR, GAAP and SOX knowledge Understanding of EVM/"EVM Light" Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications such as: OBI, Cognos, PowerBI, Fusion, CostPoint FAR, GAAP and SOX knowledge Clearance Required: Secret Candidates with this clearance will be given priority.
