Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to address each student's unique needs. • Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with disabilities. • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive educational experience. • Track and assess students' academic and behavioral progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and behavior. • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss students' progress and any necessary interventions. • Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in special education. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. • Valid Texas Teaching License with Special Education certification. • Experience teaching students with a range of disabilities and learning challenges. • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills. • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
