Who you’ll report to: This role reports to the Director, Data Science Location: Remote role based in the United States. San Jose, CA Bay Area preferred. You will make an impact by being responsible for: Designing and architecting robust, scalable machine learning based solutions and models Owning ML project lifecycle from concept to production deployment Evolving existing machine learning architectures for optimal results Evaluating and adapting to new technologies and frameworks that can optimize the company’s machine learning initiatives Mentoring the machine learning and data science teams in complex projects, ensuring a high degree of quality You will be a great fit if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field a preferred 10+ years in Engineering, focusing on data used for Machine Learning. Experience with Generative AI a plus Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiar with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch Extensive background in building AI/ML solutions with natural language processing, computer vision, and multimodal models A proven track record of deploying scalable machine learning models in production environments Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines Experience with various Databases: SQL, NoSQL (Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.) Experience developing in container environments like Docker and Kubernetes Expertise in multi-cloud environments including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure preferred You excel in these key competencies: Effective communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Proactive attitude towards staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and dynamic technology landscapes Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to a positive team culture Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Prioritizing tasks based on project goals and timelines Strong leadership and mentoring skills The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $235,000 – $265,000 and outside of those locations is $215,000 – 245,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
