POSITION OVERVIEW dormakaba is seeking a full-time Service Technician to fill a remote position based in the Virginia area. The Service Technician is responsible for Installing dormakaba door hardware & access control systems in commercial buildings, ensuring the safety and security of vital structures... HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $20/hr - $40/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $3,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) WHAT YOU WILL DO Carry out corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner Service customer equipment to the customers ongoing satisfaction and setting minimum performance standards Project a customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers Communicates with Sales and Service management about customer concerns and sales opportunities WHAT WE REQUIRE Willingness to travel Valid current drivers license Mechanical or Electrical knowledge Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment Electrical/low voltage certification Experience working with automatic doors PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
