Data Coordinator

Position Type Reports to... Volunteer Operations Manager JOB SUMMARY Plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and organized data within Rainbow City Performing Arts. This position involves archiving files, managing shared file storage, and overseeing music distribution and other broadly shared libraries. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ? Organizes and maintains digital and physical files related to performances, rehearsals, events, and administrative tasks. ? Ensures consistent naming conventions and proper categorization. ? Assists staff and volunteers in locating specific files as needed. ? Coordinates the distribution of sheet music, audio recordings, and other musical resources to members. ? Maintains an organized physical music library, including cataloging, labeling, and updating inventory. ? Collaborates with ensemble directors to ensure timely access to rehearsal materials. ? Regularly audits data and implements data quality control measures ? Attends the monthly departmental meeting and coordinates with other staff as needed. ? Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization?s Mission and Core Values. ? Complies with the organization?s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES ? Proficiency in using file management software ? Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. ? Basic understanding of data privacy and security best practices. ? Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT ? Work involves using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. ? Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. ?
