The Azure Storage Data Management team is looking for a Principal Group Engineering Manager - Azure Storage Data Management to lead the development of several impactful v1 services. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python • OR equivalent experience • 6+ years of experience with data-driven decision making • 6+ years of experience with strategic thinking, designing organizations and thought leadership • 4+ years people management experience Other Requirements: • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, OR Python • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python • OR equivalent experience • Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale, distributed, cloud-based systems or services • Proficient in leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders • Experiences with AI/ML and building applications on the Azure platform • Proven expertise in spearheading the launch and successful delivery of first-version (V1) services at a large scale • Deep technical expertise in storage, big data, data management, or related domains Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
