DID I SAY FULLY REMOTE?! • *Exciting Opportunity for Remote Database Reliability Engineer with a Leading Travel and Leisure Firm** • *Job Role: Database Reliability Engineer** • Type: Full-time (W2), Fully Remote**(must be able to work W2 without sponsorship) • *Project Duration: Multi-Year** • *Responsibilities:** • Design and architecture of database layer solutions. • Installation, upgrades, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of MySQL and related tools. • Managing database schema and supporting migration activities. • Conducting routine database maintenance and overseeing overnight activities. • Implementing high availability and failover automation. • Setting up continuous integration environments. • Customizing data sharing and database automation solutions. • Overseeing backup management and recovery procedures, both on-premise and in the cloud. • Performing periodic health checks and performance audits. • Deploying proactive performance monitoring and fault management alerting systems. • Developing and managing source code for database-related scripts. • Supporting ad-hoc projects and operational tasks as required. • *Must-Have Skills:** • Profound experience with AWS. • Extensive expertise in MySQL. • Knowledge of Aurora is beneficial. • Interested?** AIRBNB DBRE Apply Job!
