Job Type: Salaried, Exempt Work Schedule: 10-month work schedule (12-month pay schedule), with standard hours from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm daily. Annual salary is performance-based. Reporting to: Head of School Major Function As an instructional leader in our innovative charter school, you will be responsible for guiding scholars through a dynamic and engaging educational journey. You will implement our curriculum with creativity and passion, fostering a safe, respectful, and collaborative learning environment. Embracing both synchronous and asynchronous methods, you'll tailor your approach to accommodate diverse learning styles and maximize scholar achievement. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Demonstrate commitment to our classical education philosophy and foster its growth within scholars. Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons tailored to the discipline(s) taught. Cultivate a culture of mutual respect, inquiry, and intellectual growth. Ensure every scholar is supported in their intellectual and moral development. Foster open communication with scholars, parents, colleagues, and the wider community. Provide timely feedback and support to scholars and parents. Utilize data effectively to drive continuous improvement in scholar achievement. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage virtual reality sessions and resolve conflicts promptly and effectively. Encourage both independent and collaborative learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices. Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and backgrounds. Integrate appropriate technology into teaching and learning processes. Maintain social-emotional activities to nurture positive relationships among scholars. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Eligibility for a Florida teaching certificate in the relevant subject area. Preferred Certification In Elementary Education And/or Middle Grades. Experience in charter schools and/or classical education is desirable. Familiarity with online curriculum delivery or virtual reality education is advantageous. Additional Qualifications Dedication to promoting the school's mission and values in daily interactions.
