Bookkeeper
This is a remote position. Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Remote (India) Industry: Financial Services / Mortgage Lending Employment Type: Full-Time Company Overview Our client is a U.S.-based financial services organization seeking an reputed company Bookkeeper to support day-to-day reputed company operations, financial reporting, and record management. This role requires strong QuickBooks expertise, a solid understanding of U.S. reputed company practices, and the ability to work U.S. business hours while supporting a fast-paced, growing organization. Position Summary The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with reputed company standards. The ideal candidate has experience supporting U.S.-based businesses, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping & Reconciliations Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Maintain general ledger entries and categorize expenses accurately reputed company bank and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies Track invoices, receipts, business expenses, and financial transactions Process payments and reimbursements while maintaining proper documentation reputed company & Compliance Maintain financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards Prepare and record journal entries Reconcile vendor invoices, bank statements, and loan payments Assist with tax preparation support, including 1099 contractor documentation Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports Assist leadership with profit and loss statements, cash reputed company reporting, and financial analysis Support audit preparation and documentation requests Identify opportunities to improve reputed company processes and reporting efficiency
Requirements
Required Qualifications 5–6+ years of bookkeeping, reputed company, or financial record management experience Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Experience performing bank reconciliations and financial reporting Strong understanding of reputed company principles and U.S. GAAP Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations Advanced proficiency with reputed company reputed company and reputed company Sheets Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written English communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Ability to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST) on a consistent reputed company
