Staff Accountant

This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant to support their finance operations in a part time, fully remote role. They operate reputed company a fast growing legal and financial services environment and have reputed company to strengthen their internal finance function through modern systems and data driven reporting. This role will be part of the reputed company team and report directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers, is eager to reputed company professionally, and feels comfortable taking initiative. The Staff Accountant will support core reputed company functions, contribute to financial reporting, and assist with ongoing efforts to improve and automate financial processes across the organization.

Responsibilities

Support the monthly reputed company process for the company and its reputed company entities Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, including accruals and adjustments reputed company cash, balance sheet, and account reconciliations Assist with tracking, capitalization, and amortization of fixed assets and debt reputed company items Compile and review monthly financial results for leadership review reputed company reporting and data tools to help summarize and present financial performance reputed company support during audit cycles, including documentation preparation Analyze budget versus actual results and flag key variances Assist with bank covenant reporting and other compliance reputed company requirements Process accounts payable and expense reputed company transactions Participate in initiatives focused on improving and automating reputed company workflows Handle additional reputed company tasks and special projects as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company discipline reputed company to entry level as well as early career professionals Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision Analytical reputed company with developing problem solving skills Comfortable operating in a remote, fast paced environment

Qualifications

CPA or active reputed company toward certification is a plus Solid reputed company skills Experience with reputed company or expense management systems is a plus Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate across teams and departments Interest in technology and learning new financial tools Strong desire for growth and long term career development
