Marshall County School District is excited to announce a remote position for a dedicated SLP to join our team and support our Head Start program in Holly Springs, MS. In this flexible role, you will play a vital role in helping children aged 3-5 develop their communication skills. About the Position : As a Remote SLP with Marshall County Schools, you will provide speech and language services to a caseload of 10-15 students within our Head Start program. Your responsibilities will include : ?Conducting remote speech-language evaluations for preschool students ?Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address communication needs ?Providing remote individual and / or group therapy sessions ?Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system for students ?Monitoring student progress and making data-driven decisions to ensure effective interventions Qualifications : ?Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology ?Valid Mississippi State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) ?Minimum of one year of experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred) ?Strong assessment, data analysis, and report writing skills ?Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills ?Proficient in the use of technology for remote service delivery ?Commitment to cultural competency and working effectively with diverse student populations Schedule : ?Part-time (20 hours per week) ?Start Date : April 3rd, 2024 ?End Date : May 24th, 2024 Benefits : ?$40+ / HR weekly pay ?Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children ?Collaborative and supportive work environment We are looking for strong candidates who are passionate about working with children and families.
