Remote Accounting/Bookkeeping Consultant

Our client, world leading luxury cosmetic packaging producer, is looking to hire an Accounting/Bookkeeping Consultant to join their team in a remote capacity. This is a 1099 position. This person this person will set their own schedule as an independent contractor, ideally 2 hours/day. Job Duties Include... ?Support Accounts Receivable including book cash receipts and ensuring accurate and timely posting of customer payments ?Manage reminders for overdue payments and follow up for cash collection ?Monitor credit limits ?Support Accounts Payable including entering bills and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices ?Prepare payments ?Reconcile intercompany accounts and follow up on discrepancies ?Track and follow up on tooling expenses ?Prepare monthly and yearly closing entries ?Generate daily reports to provide an accurate picture of cash flow ?Prepare various reports such as pipeline reports and backlog reports ?Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned Job Qualifications Include: ?5+ years of relevant experience ?Finance/Accounting degree ?Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Salary: $35 - $38/hr ?While PCG appreciates all applicants, only those qualified will be contacted.
