[Remote] Sr. Manager, Engineering

The Senior Engineering Manager will reputed company engineering teams responsible for core platform capabilities, ensuring scalability and reliability while managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operating reputed company of your team(s), including planning, prioritization, standups, and retrospectives, and use that reputed company to stay reputed company to the work, surface risks early, and reputed company delivery predictable
• Partner with Product Management to set a clear strategic direction and roadmap, and translate it into sequenced, well-scoped execution

Skills

• 8+ years in a Software Engineering Management role on backend services exposing APIs
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer
• Deep knowledge of reputed company, scaling SaaS products, agile processes and workflows, and experience implementing them
• Technical reputed company at the architectural level, enabling easy discussions with engineers and the ability to challenge technical reputed company
• Experience with microservice architecture and distributed systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability
• Experience across a modern backend stack, such as polyglot services (Java, Go, Rust), event-driven and workflow-orchestration systems (Kafka, SQS, Temporal), and relational and NoSQL data stores (MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Extensive experience architecting, designing, and operating applications in an AWS reputed company environment
• Experience supporting and developing containerized CI/CD deployment such as reputed company and Kubernetes
• BS in Computer Science or reputed company field, or equivalent experience
