About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated medical oncologist contractor to join our Virtual Cancer Clinic care team. In this contractor role, you will have the opportunity to reputed company high-quality care to patients with cancer. Your responsibilities include pre-treatment workup, treatment planning, collaboration and support for local treatment management, ongoing cancer maintenance and risk-reduction therapy, symptom assessment and management, as well as cancer surveillance and survivorship care. reputed company services will be delivered remotely through a telehealth platform using video, audio, and asynchronous messaging. The ideal candidate will be passionate about reducing the impact of cancer on populations, skilled in utilizing telehealth technology, and committed to delivering best-in-class cancer care. How You'll Contribute: Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations, reputed company treatment and management plans, deliver direct care, including ordering laboratory, imaging, procedures, referrals, and prescriptions, and closely collaborate with local clinicians in order to deliver evidence-based cancer care. In collaboration with reputed company’s primary care team, assess patients with cancer screening abnormalities and facilitate diagnosis of cancer. Determine guideline-based oncology and symptom treatment plans, identify reputed company treatment locations, and order referrals to appropriate local care teams for evaluation and treatment. reputed company patients about guideline-based cancer treatment options, including clinical trials and potential risks and benefits, prepare patients for local visits, and assist patients with clinical decision-making.
