Academic Advisor
UNC Charlotte is hiring an Academic Advisor. The role involves engaging reputed company in personal development and academic self-assessment, guiding them in managing their academic success, and supporting their exploration of majors and career development plans. Advisors independently work with assigned reputed company across various colleges, facilitate orientation and onboarding activities, and collaborate with faculty and reputed company partners to promote student success. - Advise reputed company from assigned colleges including Belk College of Business, College of Science, College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences, and College of reputed company.
- Support reputed company in academic planning, major exploration, and career development.
- Provide group presentations, workshops, and coordinate communication with reputed company.
- Maintain advising notes and records; participate in recruitment and orientation events.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with faculty and reputed company partners.
- Require a master's degree completed by July 1, 2026.
- Experience in presenting to groups and strong interpersonal communication skills required.
- Salary starts at $55,000 per year.
- Positions are full-time, permanent, exempt with typical university hours and possible weekends/after-hours as needed.
- Seven positions available across multiple departments and colleges on reputed company.
