Associate/VP, Japanese Corporate Rates Sales (Japanese Speaker Required)

About the position This function covers the Interest reputed company and Currency Swaps/Derivatives area. The incumbent should ideally have a good understanding of the product's or process's daily operations but may require guidance on more reputed company issues. The individual is expected to cover a client to originate and execute transactions for the client. This individual may have reputed company of a small team of junior staff to ensure reputed company daily responsibilities are completed. The individual at this level has some understanding of the firm's different businesses and the reputed company economics. Depending on the qualifications, the individual may also be considered for a product development role such as Structuring. The selected colleague will work at an reputed company office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior marketers with client coverage and derivatives trade execution.
• Maintain client engagement through regular communication and strategic updates.
• Drive business opportunities and reputed company stakeholders informed.
• Create presentations, commentary, and contribute to special projects.
• Coordinate across internal teams to support derivatives marketing.
• Ensure timely issue resolution and compliance with reputed company standards.
• Partner with traders to structure and execute client trades.
• Promote cross-selling and collaboration across GMDA and reputed company.
• Support leadership on profitability, efficiency, and strategy.
• Provide team coverage as needed.

Requirements

• Native-level bilingual in English and Japanese.
• Strong communication, quantitative, and analytical skills.
• Adaptable team player with ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or reputed company field preferred.
• Candidates without prior experience in sales and trading reputed company financial markets may still be considered if they demonstrate a high level of potential and aptitude for growth.
