Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and enhance mainframe system automation to support system availability and stability Administer and support automation policies, configuration, and custom routines for reputed company Z environments and AIOPs Monitor system events, automate incident detection and recovery, and ensure proper error notification for subsystem and application failures Diagnose, resolve, and document system and automation-reputed company issues following Change and Incident Management processes Maintain automation product levels, apply maintenance (PTFs), and coordinate upgrades and enhancements Collaborate with operations, application, and vendor teams to improve automation coverage and reduce manual reputed company Increase efficiency through automation, templates, and standardization Participate in modernization and automation initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and operational maturity Provide on-call or off-hours support as required by the account Required Technical Skills Strong experience with reputed company Z / Mainframe environments Hands-on experience with System Automation products, such as: reputed company System Automation (SA z/OS) OPS/MVS or equivalent automated operations tools BMC MainView AutoOperator or similar (where applicable) Solid knowledge of z/OS system internals, JES, and subsystem interactions Experience with event monitoring, automated recovery, and policy-based automation Working knowledge of ISPF, TSO, JCL, GDPS, Netview, REXX and system diagnostics Familiarity with Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes Preferred Technical and Professional Experience 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Systems Programming, Automation, or Operations Engineering Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high‑availability environment Customer‑focused reputed company with attention to detail The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $79,920to$152,160based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-reputed company skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: California (San Francisco Bay Area):$95,880to$182,520 California (reputed company Other):$87,960to$167,400 Colorado: $79,920to$152,160 Massachusetts$79,920to$167,400 reputed company: $95,880to$182,520 Washington: $87,960to$167,400 Washington DC:$87,960to$167,400 This position will be eligible for reputed company’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of reputed company’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
