What You’ll Do at arenaflex

As an Associate on our Customer Acquisition team, you will be responsible for demonstrating the value and benefits of our client’s products and services through meaningful customer engagement. Your primary focus will be on selling and renewing contracts, while proactively identifying up-sell opportunities that expand account value. Working from a dedicated territory and team for your assigned client, you will own a revenue-based quota and contribute directly to arenaflex’s growth trajectory.

Core Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation & Quota Achievement: Work within a dedicated territory and team for your assigned client to consistently meet or exceed your revenue-based quota by selling renewals and services, with the opportunity to offer up-sell enhancements.
  • Accurate Forecasting: Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts that inform strategic planning and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
  • Product & Service Mastery: Develop deep product knowledge and a strong technical understanding of the services you represent, enabling you to assess client requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Customer Advocacy & Issue Resolution: Initiate proactive steps to address customer concerns or roadblocks that prohibit satisfaction, product adoption, or contract renewal.
  • Objection Handling & Competitive Positioning: Manage external competitive pressures and confidently handle objections to retain existing customers and win new business.
  • High-Volume Customer Engagement: Manage a high volume of customer contacts through phone and email each day, with the majority of communication being outbound in nature.
  • Professional Customer Experience: Collaborate with your team and management to consistently deliver a polished, professional experience during all customer and prospect interactions.
  • CRM Hygiene & Data Integrity: Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure all relevant customer data, activity history, and pipeline information is captured accurately.
  • Multi-Faceted Sales Motions: Undertake a variety of sales activities that may include lead qualification, lead conversion, account health checks, serving as the voice of the customer, and contract renewals.
  • Team Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with your team and report directly to a Sales Manager, contributing to a culture of accountability, transparency, and shared success.

Essential Qualifications

  • Location & Commute: The ability to commute to our Nashville, Tennessee hub located at 621 Mainstream Drive, with flexibility to work from home as required.
  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a customer service, inside sales, or outbound sales capacity.
  • Quota Achievement: Demonstrated prior success in achieving personal and team sales quotas and performance goals.
  • High-Volume Calling: Proven experience in high-volume calling environments, with the ability to maintain energy, focus, and professionalism throughout the day.
  • Tech Adaptability: Experience learning new technologies, platforms, and data systems quickly and independently.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • CRM Experience: Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com or a similar customer relationship management platform.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Experience or willingness to work from home, with a disciplined approach to productivity and communication.

Physical & Mental Requirements

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, headset, and other standard office equipment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, requiring extended periods of sitting and screen time. The role also requires strong mental focus, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume communication in a structured, fast-paced environment.
