In this role, you will own the end-to-end retention communication strategy across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS channels. You will be the connective tissue between Product, Business Intelligence, Hardware Engineering, and Data Science teams, ensuring that every customer touchpoint is meaningful, timely, and optimized for long-term loyalty. What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Retention Communication Strategy: Design, develop, and execute audience-specific messaging campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS to drive device health improvements, subscription renewals, and sustained user engagement throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Business Intelligence, Hardware Engineering, and Data Science teams to deeply understand product usage patterns, customer behaviors, and pain points that influence retention outcomes.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer: Leverage qualitative feedback and quantitative data to advocate for the customer in every conversation, proposing communications and product enhancements that meaningfully improve the arenaflex customer experience.
  • Measure, Test, and Optimize: Build frameworks to test, track, and measure the impact of retention initiatives on critical metrics such as device uptime, subscription renewal rates, churn reduction, and long-term user engagement.
  • Inform Leadership Decisions: Synthesize campaign performance data into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to senior leadership to shape future retention strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive benchmarks in customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and CRM to keep arenaflex at the forefront of the connected home industry.
  • Plan for Product Launches: Develop comprehensive retention strategies for new product introductions, ensuring that customers receive relevant, value-driven communications from day one.

A Day in the Life

No two days look exactly the same in this role, and that is part of what makes it so energizing. You might start your morning by diving into customer feedback dashboards and product usage analytics to identify friction points in the device setup journey. By mid-morning, you could be collaborating with the product team to design an email nurture campaign aimed at re-engaging lapsed users who have not interacted with their devices in weeks. After lunch, you might find yourself presenting retention performance metrics and campaign ROI to senior leadership, using data storytelling to influence strategic decisions. In the afternoon, you could be working with the Hardware and Data Science teams to plan a comprehensive retention strategy for an upcoming product launch, mapping out messaging across every channel for every customer segment. The Customer Experience & Engagement (CxE) team at arenaflex is a dynamic, multidisciplinary group of marketing strategists, product managers, creative thinkers, and analytical experts who share a common mission: delivering exceptional experiences that keep customers coming back. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, program management, product marketing, business development, or technology roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition from concept through execution
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery, including discovery, development, launch, and iteration
  • Demonstrated experience managing feature delivery and navigating tradeoffs in a fast-paced product environment
  • Experience serving as a product manager or product owner for technology-driven products
  • Experience owning technology products with measurable business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing senior leadership through compelling, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functional teams and senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Deep familiarity with customer retention metrics, lifecycle marketing frameworks, and CRM platforms
  • Experience with A/B testing, campaign analytics, and customer segmentation strategies
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives
  • Passion for the connected home, smart devices, or consumer technology industries
