[Remote] Social Content Designer & Producer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Josie Maran is a pioneer in clean beauty, seeking a Social Content Designer & Producer to enhance their brand's social presence. This role involves creating engaging content across various social platforms, translating brand messages into captivating formats, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive social strategies.
Responsibilities
- Translate Brand & Campaigns into Social-First Content
- Bring campaign concepts, brand storytelling, and creative direction to life across social platforms
- Translate brand messaging and product truths into engaging, platform-native content formats
- Design, edit, and produce content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
- Ensure social content reflects the established brand world while adapting appropriately for each platform and audience
- Create & Produce Social Content
- Concept, design, edit, and publish short-form video and static content for social channels
- Capture and edit founder content, behind-the-scenes moments, event coverage, and real-time social storytelling opportunities
- Produce lo-fi, creator-style, and trend-driven content that feels authentic to each platform
- Partner with the Social team to rapidly create content that supports launches, campaigns, and community initiatives
- Curate & Elevate Creator & UGC Content
- Review, refine, and adapt creator-generated and user-generated content for brand channels
- Ensure creator and UGC assets align with brand standards while maintaining authenticity
- Edit and optimize creator content for platform performance and engagement
- Collaborate on creator briefs and content deliverables as needed
- Drive Social Content Excellence
- Maintain consistency across social touchpoints while balancing speed, quality, and relevance
- Stay ahead of social trends, content formats, platform updates, and emerging creative best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve content performance through creative testing and iteration
- Help establish efficient workflows for high-volume content creation and production
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner closely with the Director of Social & Community and Social Media & Community Manager to execute social strategies
- Work alongside the Campaign Strategist to translate campaign concepts into social executions
- Collaborate with the Creative Studio, including Art Directors and Designers, to ensure social content aligns with broader brand campaigns
- Partner with Creator, Marketing, eCommerce, and Brand teams to support key business objectives
Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in social content creation, content design, digital creative, or content production roles
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in short-form video, content creation, editing, and platform-native storytelling
- Advanced proficiency in social editing and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere, Canva, Figma, or similar)
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms
- Experience working with creator content and UGC ecosystems
- Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail
- Ability to move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Highly collaborative with strong communication and project management skills
- Experience creating content for beauty, fashion, lifestyle, wellness, or founder-led brands
