[Remote] Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Atlas Copco Group is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead commercial expansion across North America. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, driving sales teams, and accelerating adoption of Ceres’ world-class MDS portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to understand the total available market and associated customer, while assessing the competitive situation in various regions and customers
- Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to address the market
- Actively engage customers with and without the sales team to continually improve our market understanding and the needs of our customers
- Assess current sales channels and continually refine them to improve and expand coverage based upon the primary market opportunities
- Develop channel strategies to ensure awareness of Ceres withing the more diffuse market, such that we become a known entity in the broader market
- Identify and develop relationships with appropriate end user stakeholders responsible for decision making for MDE opportunities
- Set and monitor KPIs for sales team performance and market expansion ambitions
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and revenue forecasts
Skills
- Proven experience in business development, direct sales, and/or channel sales, preferably in semiconductor equipment, gas delivery systems, specialty chemicals, or industrial solutions
- Strong understanding of semiconductor decision making units and B2B sales dynamics
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively
- Self-motivated with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50%-75% of the position; often overnight or multiple day stays. Will be home on weekends (if desired)
- Technical knowledge of gas or liquid delivery systems, precursor chemistry, or semiconductor process equipment
