About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to own the end‑to‑end sales cycle for our flagship Customer Remediation Solution. This solution helps banks, broker‑dealers, and other financial services firms remediate legacy client data issues, meet regulatory expectations, and restore confidence with their customers. The role is hybrid—based out of an arenaflex office with the flexibility to work remotely—and reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Development: Leverage existing senior‑level relationships, conduct targeted outreach, and represent arenaflex at industry events to create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across the United States.
  • Full‑Cycle Sales Management: Own every stage from prospect qualification, executive presentations, and solution design to proposal development, contract negotiation, and final close. Coordinate closely with Product, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless experience for the client.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Build and execute account plans that align with arenaflex’s growth objectives, tracking progress against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Thought Leadership & Education: Develop and deliver compelling presentations, whitepapers, and workshops that educate internal sales teams and external prospects on the value of customer remediation.
  • RFI/RFP Management: Lead the response process for Requests for Information and Proposals, ensuring compliance, clarity, and competitive positioning.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success to surface market insights, refine messaging, and drive cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Industry Visibility: Attend and speak at trade shows, conferences, and webinars to elevate arenaflex’s brand, expand the professional network, and stay ahead of emerging risk trends.
  • Travel & Client Engagement: Travel frequently to client sites and prospect meetings to build trust, conduct demos, and close deals.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of proven enterprise sales experience, preferably within the financial services risk or compliance space.
  • Deep network of senior‑level contacts (including C‑suite) in risk, compliance, and operations functions of banks, broker‑dealers, and asset managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas consistently, both individually and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills, with a track record of closing multi‑million‑dollar contracts.
  • Consultative selling style—able to diagnose complex client challenges and articulate tailored remediation solutions.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities; comfortable developing business cases, ROI analyses, and executive‑level decks.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and modern sales enablement tools.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of thriving in a hybrid work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 40–50% of the time) to meet clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience selling risk‑mitigation or remediation software solutions to regulated financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory frameworks governing client data remediation.
  • Prior exposure to complex contract negotiations involving legal, compliance, and finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor junior sales colleagues and contribute to the development of a high‑performing sales culture.
  • Multilingual capabilities or experience working with cross‑border financial firms.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
