Role Overview: Technical Customer Experience Representative

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance, product guidance, and overall support. You will blend technical expertise with exceptional communication skills to resolve inquiries quickly, educate users, and champion continuous improvement across the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Support: Provide high‑quality phone and chat assistance, aiming for first‑call resolution and consistently high customer satisfaction scores.

  • Maintain Compliance: Complete required certification processes, including fingerprint submission to the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) for electronic security employee eligibility.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, technical support, or a related field, demonstrating a track record of resolving complex inquiries.
  • Strong technical foundation in consumer electronics, with particular familiarity in home security hardware and software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated empathy, active listening, and a customer‑first mindset that drives high Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment, balancing remote work with occasional on‑site collaboration as needed.
  • Eligibility for electronic security employee certification, including successful completion of the DCJS fingerprint and background check process.
