What You'll Do at arenaflex As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be an integral part of our client services team, responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of healthcare member information across various insurance portals. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure smooth verification and enrollment processes, ultimately helping individuals and families secure the healthcare coverage they need.

Key Responsibilities

Include:

  • Maintain Accurate Member Information: Update member details promptly and ensure their records are always current, accurate, and properly documented in our systems.
  • Handle Policy Changes: Process terminations, reinstatements, upgrades, downgrades, and other policy adjustments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage Health Coverage Information: Keep coverage plans accurate and up-to-date, including eligibility status, benefits information, coverage limitations, and policy details.
  • Research and Update Healthcare Provider Information: Ensure accurate and current provider data within medical portals, including physician credentials, facility information, network participation, and contact details.
  • Analyze and Interpret Data: Utilize your knowledge of healthcare terminology, medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance industry standards to enhance data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work as part of a supportive team to achieve shared goals, participate in team meetings, and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Uphold Confidentiality: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards, safeguarding sensitive member information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Stay Current with Industry Changes: Continuously learn about changes in healthcare insurance regulations, policies, procedures, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks on data entries, identify and correct errors, and suggest process improvements to enhance overall accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer Support: Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding member data, coverage questions, and policy status with professionalism and empathy.
