Role Overview

The Product Operations Specialist is a pivotal member of arenaflex’s Product Operations team, responsible for the end‑to‑end management of our marketplace inventory—including lodging, vehicle rentals, insurance, and ancillary services. This remote position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 and a full‑time schedule of 8 hours per day. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership to ensure that product data is accurate, pricing is optimized, and the customer experience remains flawless across all sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Create, maintain, and update supplier profiles within the arenaflex marketplace platform, ensuring that all contract details, parent/chain relationships, and inventory allocations are accurately reflected.
  • Pricing & Rules Configuration: Set up and maintain pricing rules, discount structures, and other selling policies for each supplier, guaranteeing competitive offers while protecting margin.
  • Electronic Supplier Integration: Design and implement configuration standards for all electronically connected suppliers, ensuring seamless data flow and real‑time availability.
  • New Supplier Onboarding: Manage the product onboarding workflow for new suppliers, from data ingestion to live activation, while adhering to compliance and quality standards.
  • Inventory Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of inventory data, identify anomalies, and develop corrective actions to maintain data integrity across the platform.
  • Technology Collaboration: Partner with the arenaflex technology team to troubleshoot integration issues, evaluate new system enhancements, and act as the primary liaison for external technology partners.
  • Pricing & Market Intelligence: Provide pricing insights and market data to the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Cross‑Functional Support: Assist other arenaflex departments—including Customer Service, Revenue Management, and Operations—with queries related to inventory and product contributions.
  • Demand Forecasting Support: Work with the Product Development team to develop and execute annual Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) plans, aligning inventory levels with projected demand.
  • Emergency Response: Support senior leadership during crisis events (e.g., natural disasters, system outages) by providing timely product data and operational insights.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong, trust‑based relationships with suppliers at all levels, ensuring open communication and mutual success.
  • Ad‑Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects, process improvements, and initiatives as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems using data‑driven approaches.

  • Experience using arenaflex analytics tools (formerly known as Power BI) to generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of airline or travel‑industry processes, including ancillary revenue streams and supplier contracts.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and ticketing systems.
