Lead the design and development of innovative and user-friendly business intelligence products for small business owners and mid-market companies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and data analysts to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Conduct user research and gather customer insights to inform design decisions and validate product concepts. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts. Develop and maintain design guidelines and patterns to ensure consistency and coherence across all products. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Advocate for user-centered design principles and drive a customer-centric mindset within the organization. Work closely with the product team to define and prioritize product features and enhancements. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve product design and user experience. Mentor and coach junior designers to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the design team. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet business objectives. Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders and advocate for the user's perspective. Continuously gather and analyze data on product performance and user feedback to inform design decisions and drive product improvements. Maintain a deep understanding of the QuickBooks and Mid-Market product offerings to ensure alignment and consistency across all products.
