Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers who are considering canceling arenaflex services.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by listening actively, identifying underlying concerns, and presenting tailored solutions that retain the customer.
  • Utilize persuasive communication and upselling techniques to demonstrate the long‑term value of arenaflex’s security and automation offerings.
  • Navigate complex, escalated calls with empathy, de‑escalation skills, and a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Perform quick calculations, negotiate rates, and offer credits or service adjustments to resolve billing or service issues.
  • Leverage a suite of more than ten internal tools—including rate‑negotiation calculators, billing error trackers, and equipment recommendation engines—to craft comprehensive retention offers.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of arenaflex policies, product portfolio, industry trends, and competitor solutions.
  • Document each interaction accurately in the CRM system, ensuring compliance with data‑privacy standards.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics such as call handling time, retention rate, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching sessions, share best practices with teammates, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications – What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or customer‑retention role where performance metrics were tied to outcomes.
  • At least 2 years of call‑center experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade, negotiate, and upsell while maintaining a customer‑centric approach.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or a degree is a plus.
  • Reliable, high‑speed internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 15 Mbps upload) and a distraction‑free home office setup.
  • Strong attendance record—training attendance is mandatory for the initial 8‑12 week onsite program in Wichita, KS.

Preferred Qualifications – Nice‑to‑Have Extras

  • Experience with security‑system or smart‑home technology products.
  • Familiarity with multiple CRM platforms and the ability to multitask across several screens.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

  • Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour, with incremental $0.50 increases every 30 days until reaching $21.00 per hour after 180 days.
