You will help design, develop, and maintain the applications that give our agents a 360‑degree view of each customer’s journey. Your work will directly influence how millions of travelers interact with arenaflex, ensuring that every touchpoint—from booking to post‑flight support—is smooth, personalized, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply software development and testing knowledge to solve a broad range of technical challenges.
  • Translate business and non‑technical requirements into robust technical solutions that align with arenaflex’s strategic goals.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices by attending workshops, reading industry publications, and participating in internal knowledge‑sharing sessions.
  • Investigate and resolve software and system defects to maintain high availability and optimal performance across all environments, including production.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and estimate effort.
  • Contribute to team‑level technical discussions, propose architectural improvements, and identify opportunities for process automation.
  • Follow agile delivery cycles, actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and demo sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors, including support for training initiatives and documentation updates.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Strong understanding of software development life‑cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, break them down into actionable technical tasks, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across remote teams.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace that meets arenaflex’s security standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, micro‑services architecture, and database technologies (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Prior exposure to automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cypress) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for secure coding.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment, demonstrating self‑discipline, time‑management, and proactive communication.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose root causes quickly and devise effective, scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who can build relationships with product, design, and operations stakeholders.
