Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the claims reporting process, gather all necessary documentation, and liaise with adjusters to expedite claim resolution.
  • Policy Maintenance: Accurately record policy updates, endorsements, and changes in our secure system, ensuring each client’s book of business reflects the most current coverage.
  • Renewal Management: Proactively reach out to clients ahead of renewal dates, provide competitive quotes, and recommend coverage enhancements that align with evolving risk profiles.
  • Client Communication: Deliver clear, concise answers to coverage and billing inquiries, explaining rate fluctuations, policy modifications, and any regulatory updates.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about emerging insurance products, carrier offerings, and regulatory changes by maintaining regular contact with industry partners and attending training sessions.
  • Coverage Review: Conduct periodic assessments of client portfolios to identify gaps, recommend upgrades, and ensure optimal protection.
  • Documentation & Follow‑Up: Log all client interactions—calls, emails, and policy changes—into the CRM, and follow up diligently to close loops and exceed service expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and other service team members to coordinate efforts and share insights that benefit the entire agency.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active insurance license in Minnesota or a willingness to obtain licensure within 30 days of hire.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex insurance concepts into understandable language.
  • Strong problem‑solving aptitude and a track record of meticulous follow‑up on client requests.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort navigating digital record‑keeping platforms.
  • Prior experience in an insurance‑related role (agent, broker, or customer service) is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
