Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy to individuals facing mental health challenges associated with substance abuse, using effective and established therapeutic methods.
• Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans that align with best practices and address each client’s unique needs.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically for substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies, ensuring all patient records are up to date.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure cohesive and coordinated care for all patients, actively participating in case discussions and planning meetings.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding mental health and substance abuse issues, equipping them with tools for recovery.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and integrate those findings into your clinical practice to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Manage an appropriate caseload that aligns with organizational standards, working towards meeting treatment goals while adhering to ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse group of clients facing the challenges of substance use disorders coupled with various mental health concerns. Our patients come from various backgrounds and may have co-occurring disorders, highlighting the need for a holistic treatment approach that addresses both their mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience, particularly focused on substance abuse therapy, is essential.
• Strong knowledge of solution-focused interventions and evidence-based practices is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a keen sense of teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a remote work environment is a plus, as is familiarity with telehealth platforms for conducting therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
