Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable -- Remote | WFH

Key Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. • Assist the Controller in daily cash flow calculations and execution. • Reconcile a high volume of transactions with meticulous attention to accuracy. • Oversee reconciliation for Sales Tax collection and payments. • Aid in preparing monthly/annual financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Interface with Accounts Receivable representatives at vendors to ensure timely payments. • Collaborate with the finance team for monthly and year-end closings. • Work with external auditors or investment partners and prepare audit documentation. • Assist in budget preparation and expense management. • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a company generating over $20M annually. • Proven experience in e-commerce, handling 1,000+ monthly orders. • Exceptional proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel. • Experience managing AP/AR relationships with multimillion-dollar vendors. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Benefits • Hourly rate: $31 - $35 per hour (DOE). • Possibility of becoming a salaried full-time employee after 1 year. • Generous PTO policy. • Access to company health insurance after 90 days, with partial coverage by the employer after 1 year.
