Your Role: Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative

As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you’ll be the go-to person for our customers, providing outstanding service, resolving inquiries, and building lasting relationships. Every call, email, and chat interaction is an opportunity to exceed expectations and make a real difference in someone’s day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing accurate information about products and services, answering questions, and resolving concerns via phone, email, and chat.
  • Inbound and Outbound Communication: Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed, identifying and assessing customer needs to deliver satisfaction at the first point of contact.
  • Performance Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed personal and customer service targets, KPIs, and call handling quotas based on program-specific requirements.
  • Technology Utilization: Use various computer and business software programs, including email, internet, chat tools, and CRM systems, to track customer interactions, document notes, and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle escalated customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training, coaching sessions, and team meetings to continuously improve your performance and stay updated on product knowledge.

Essential Qualifications

  • Passion for Phone-Based Customer Service: You enjoy talking on the phone and consider it the core of your professional life.
  • Customer Service or Call Center Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven ability to ensure customer satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Positive Attitude and Professionalism: You bring a “Smile and Dial” mentality to every conversation, with excellent communication skills and a desire to go above and beyond.
  • Multitasking Ability: You’re comfortable helping customers via phone, email, and chat simultaneously while toggling between multiple systems.
  • Training Commitment: Must attend all scheduled training sessions—100% attendance is required to set you up for success.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: You’re friendly, empathetic, a great listener, and you genuinely care about helping people.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and various communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous remote work experience
  • Familiarity with CRM software and ticketing systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (a plus, but not required)
  • Experience in industries such as insurance, banking, retail, or healthcare

Remote Work Requirements: Set Up for Success

To ensure you can perform at your best while working from home, arenaflex requires the following technical and environmental setup:

  • Quiet, Undisturbed Workspace: A dedicated, private space free from distractions and background noise.
  • Reliable High-Speed Internet: A wired Ethernet connection (no shared or public WiFi, satellite, dial-up, hotspots, or 5G wireless service) with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload.
  • Home Router with Ethernet Link: A home router connected directly to your PC or laptop via Ethernet cable.
  • Dependable Power Strip: A surge protector to keep your equipment safe and running.
  • Mobile Phone with Unlimited Minutes: A mobile phone with unlimited landline minutes and strong cell service may be used in lieu of a landline.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $15.00 per hour
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8-hour shifts available during day and evening hours
  • Location: Remote (must be able to commute to Oxford, OH for orientation)
