About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Eligibility Verification: Carefully verify account eligibility and accessibility, cross-referencing multiple data sources to confirm customer information before processing service requests.
  • Work Order Processing: Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders in a timely manner, acting as a critical link between customer requests and field operations teams.
  • Mass Communication Preparation: Prepare and organize files for mass customer communications, supporting outreach initiatives that keep the community informed about services, updates, and important notices.
  • Document Handling: Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, ensuring that physical and digital correspondence reaches customers without delay.
  • Document Scanning and Retention: Scan and retain documents in accordance with organizational record-keeping policies, preserving the integrity of historical and current records.
  • Audit Support: Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action to maintain data consistency.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED) is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist in a professional setting.

Special Requirements

  • Must successfully pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing to be considered for the role.
