Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join its industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs. With strong account leadership, you’ll also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. What You Will Do: Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assigned competitively-held accounts, to meet profit increase goals Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water Position Details: Ideal candidate location is Denver, CO but open to location within the territory near a major US airport Territory covers the states of Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota & Nebraska Targeted accounts are within the Municipal/Wastewater industries 15 - 25% overnight travel required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience Position requires a current and valid driver's license Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role Physical Requirements: Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle) Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.) Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems About Nalco Water: In a world with increasing water shortage and contamination challenges, Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, helps customers conserve more than 161 billion gallons of water each year. Anticipated Job Posting End Date: 7/19/2026 Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: The total Compensation range for this position is $107,400-$161,100 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
