[Remote] Applications Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPC Power Corp. designs and manufactures advanced power conversion systems in the United States. The Applications Engineer will act as a technical expert supporting the company's growth within hyperscale and AI data center markets, focusing on technical sales and customer support throughout complex sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical interface for hyperscale and AI data center customers
- Lead pre-sales technical strategy, solution design, and value positioning
- Support complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from concept through execution
- Architect inverter-based power and energy management solutions
- Deliver executive-level technical presentations and customer briefings
- Provide advanced technical support and lead technical escalations as needed
- Partner cross-functionally to influence product roadmap and technical direction
- Develop reference architectures, application notes, and technical collateral
- Travel up to 25% to support customers and sales initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in applications engineering or technical sales engineering
- Direct experience supporting hyperscale and/or AI data center environments
- Strong expertise in one or more of the following: BESS, UPS, inverters, or mission-critical power systems
