[Remote] Senior Project Manager - Promo Med Ed

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple medical education projects, ensuring timely delivery, client satisfaction, and effective team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees 10-12 concurrent projects, depending on the scope
  • Support of 1-3+ accounts, depending on the scope
  • Assumes responsibility for overall scope of each project, develops project plans, timelines, budgets in conjunction with coordinator, and drives projects to timely, quality delivery
  • Anticipates client needs and proactively addresses those needs with the project or account director to ensure complete client satisfaction and provides recommendations to exceed client expectation
  • Works with account management, project team, scientific team, vendors, and editorial teams to coordinate resources to ensure appropriate support and communication, including but not limited to: Responsible for the creation of long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegates project tasks to team members best positioned to complete them and ensures timely and successful completion
  • Serves as a point of contact for teams when shared services are in play to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Oversees the develops and maintenance of status reports for internal and client use
  • Ensures quality control of the project throughout development to execution, maintaining the standards expected
  • Adjusts schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
  • Fosters integration, collaboration, and teamwork among team members
  • Deploys Open Health resources to best balance overall business objectives of the organization
  • Proactively and consistently makes connections across projects/deliverables and make recommendations for project efficiencies and improvement
  • Ensures delivery of each project relative to budget, and the overall profitability of the account. Is able to independently reconcile projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision and ensures all project financials are completed in scope and on time. Helps to facilitate the reporting of financial records to clients as needed on a regular basis. Oversees and quality checks all financial tracking completed by the coordinator and project manager
  • May be asked to support account/project team in the development of proposals/budgets to implement creative educational programs
  • Works with project/account director to help select and hire appropriate staff, delegate as appropriate, train and develop coordinators and associate project managers on a routine basis, and may have staff direct reports within the team
  • Completes all relevant other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization. This could include account/project management and scientifically based tasks related to the business that account director/manager sells and/or oversees. These tasks could include literature searches, assistance in pitch development agenda development for meetings, and review of meeting recaps, etc

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of professional education project types, including comprehensive knowledge of professional education project types
  • Veeva PromoMats, submission workflows, or approval systems
  • Legam/Medical/Regulatory (LMR) review process
  • Proficient software and computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Adept problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, articulate, creative, optimistic and works easily with a variety of personalities and styles
  • Ability to make effective decisions when presented with multiple options
  • Understand FDA, AMA, PhRMA Guidelines and State Regulations as they apply to medical communication projects
  • The ability to travel and meet with clients as required
