[Remote] Senior Java Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Anagh Technologies Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join their cloud-first engineering team. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable backend services, building cloud-native architectures, and ensuring the performance and reliability of eCommerce and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and support cloud-native microservices architectures
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
• Work on high-scale eCommerce and POS (Point of Sale) platforms
• Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability for mission-critical services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot
• Experience building and operating microservices in production
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture
• Good understanding of databases, caching mechanisms, and messaging systems
• Experience working in eCommerce, delivery, fulfillment, or restaurant tech domains
• Exposure to POS systems (Point of Sale) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, Terraform, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Python experience (strong plus)
• Exposure to AI/ML tools or AI-driven systems
• Experience in supporting high availability / low latency / SLA-driven systems
• Experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure automation
