[Remote] Workday Financials AMS Lead

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Focus Cloud is seeking a senior Workday Financials Lead Consultant to take ownership of a major higher education transformation programme for a well-known US institution. The role involves assessing the current Workday Financials environment, optimizing business processes, and providing leadership while working directly with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and optimisation of an existing Workday Financials environment
• Identify system, process and reporting gaps across the platform
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for remediation and enhancement
• Provide leadership and direction to internal functional resources
• Partner directly with client stakeholders and executive leadership
• Drive best practice adoption across Financial Data Model, Procurement, Expenses, Supply Chain and related Financials areas
• Review existing business processes and recommend improvements
• Support reporting, operational efficiency and governance initiatives
• Act as the primary Workday Financials subject matter expert throughout the engagement

Skills

• Extensive Workday Financials consulting experience
• Experience leading recovery, remediation, optimisation or Phase X programmes
• Strong understanding of Workday Financials architecture and business process design
• Expertise across Financial Data Model (FDM), Procure to Pay, Expenses, Supply Chain and Financial Accounting
• Ability to engage with executive stakeholders and provide strategic direction
• Proven track record leading Workday Financials initiatives from assessment through delivery
• Experience within Higher Education environments strongly preferred
