[Remote] Teams Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BlerdTech is a company focused on enhancing communication and collaboration through Microsoft collaboration tools. They are seeking a Microsoft M365 Teams Administrator to implement, manage, and optimize the Microsoft Teams environment, ensuring efficient and secure use of the platform for their clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as incident and service request tier 2-3 escalation point for MS Teams related issues (includes telephony experience)
- Troubleshoot and/or maintain MS Call Queue, AutoAttendant, Hardphones, PSTN, phone inventory and assignments, policies, configurations, conference bridges. etc
- Provide MS Teams administration – i.e., planning/deploying, latency, SIP and CTI Messaging, chat, channels, audio/ video, calling, etc
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Teams issues. (1-3 day SLA)
- Participate in monthly technical meetings with management, development team, and operations to provide updates on assignments and help coordinate interdependent project tasks
- Provide input to documentation - communication plans, customer notices, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Respond to M365 FAQ requests and issues and support ticketing system
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 Teams
- Strong knowledge on Microsoft Teams architecture, components, and Skype for Business Online components
- Provide MS Teams administration – i.e., planning/deploying, latency, SIP and CTI Messaging, chat, channels, audio/ video, calling, etc
- Professional experience working directly with clients and customers to provide technical support and guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Additional knowledge on MS Teams video and voice interoperability is desired
