Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. iitjobs, Inc. is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) and hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation experience. The role involves assessing the current finance landscape, defining implementation roadmaps, and leading finance transformation initiatives while managing stakeholder relationships and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of existing SAP Finance and Controlling processes and environments
- Develop implementation strategies, project roadmaps, and execution plans
- Lead SAP FICO initiatives with a primary focus on Controlling (CO)
- Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions
- Recommend and implement new configurations aligned with business requirements and best practices
- Drive project planning, status tracking, risk management, and issue resolution
- Partner with finance, accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to define future-state processes
- Provide leadership and guidance throughout implementation phases
- Anticipate project challenges and proactively develop mitigation plans
- Support integration points across Finance and related SAP modules
- Participate in solution design workshops, testing activities, and production deployment
- Ensure documentation of business processes, configurations, and solution designs
Skills
- 8+ years of SAP FICO experience with significant expertise in SAP CO (Controlling)
- Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation experiences, including SAP S/4HANA
- Strong hands-on configuration experience within SAP Controlling
- Experience performing assessments and creating implementation roadmaps and project plans
- Ability to independently lead workstreams and drive projects forward
- Strong understanding of financial processes, cost accounting, profitability analysis, and management reporting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to identify risks, dependencies, and implementation impacts
- Experience working directly with business and executive stakeholders
- Experience with SAP Group Reporting
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance transformation programs
- Background in healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain-related industries
- SAP certifications in Finance, S/4HANA, or related disciplines
- Experience leading global or large-scale finance implementations
