[Remote] Technical SEO Contractor (project-based)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mannix Marketing is looking for a Technical SEO Contractor to support their digital marketing team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on conducting technical SEO audits, resolving issues, and supporting site health for a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and prioritize findings for client sites
• Identify and resolve crawlability, indexation, site speed, and structured data issues
• Support Core Web Vitals improvements in coordination with web development
• Monitor site performance using Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar tools
• Build and maintain reporting in Looker Studio to communicate performance clearly
• Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking, including tag management and goal configuration
• Document findings and recommendations clearly for internal strategy teams

Skills

• Hands-on experience with technical SEO across multiple client sites
• Proficiency with tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or DeepCrawl
• Working knowledge of HTML, structured data/schema markup, and crawl management
• Experience with conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting (Google Tag Manager, GA4)
• Familiarity with Looker Studio for building client-facing performance reports
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• WordPress Experience Required
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required for collaboration within a remote team environment
• Shopify Experience a Plus
