[Remote] Account Executive, AWS Nonprofits – Research Institutes, Nonprofits Research

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading cloud platform provider, and they are seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue and customer engagements within the nonprofit research sector. The role involves developing and executing account plans, maintaining customer satisfaction, and creating compelling value propositions to increase adoption of AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory and within the research vertical
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services specific to the CxO level
• Accelerate customer adoption
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
• Manage contract negotiations
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Expect moderate travel

Skills

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
• Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
• Experience (technical or educational) in Engineering or Computer Science
• Bachelor's degree, or experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building
